Anderson Foundation for Parks & Recreation (AFPR) Patrons is a dynamic group of individuals dedicated to supporting continued advancement of AndersonParks programs and community building initiatives. Anderson Parks encompasses 9 parks spanning 500 square acres in Anderson Township. Community facilities include sports fields, hiking trails, a skate park, a dog park, splash pads and a recently acquired RecPlex.
By joining the APFR as a Park Member you will benefit from special members events, VIP parking at our annual Greater Anderson Days Party and be listed as a patron in our quarterly park guide. Park Patrons will also have opportunities to engage with our community through volunteering for spring and fall service days as well as, priority inclusion in park programs. Contribution is tax deductible
The Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation, a 501(c)(3) organization, is the fundraising arm of the Anderson Park District. Donations and gifts are tax deductible under Title 26, Chapter 1, Section 170 of IRS Code and Section 92 of the ORC. The value to be deductible for gifts is determined by the tax advisor of the donor or by approved appraisal.
